Product Introduction:
The 2PG double-roll crusher is suitable for limestone, coal, gypsum, clay, and medium-hard ores, and is used in applications requiring strict control of maximum particle size and minimal dust production. Zhongjin machinery's 2PG series double-roll crushers offer finished product capacities of 2–180 tons/hour and discharge diameters of 2–150 mm. The rollers are made of high-wear-resistant manganese steel. Models range from 2PG400×250 to 2PG1200×1200.
Working principle: The material enters the V-shaped crushing chamber between two relatively rotating wear-resistant alloy rollers, where it is crushed and sheared under the action of extrusion and shearing forces, and discharged from the discharge port after reaching the set particle size.

1.Adjustable discharge particle size, not just by feel: By adjusting the roller gap, the finished product size can be controlled between 2–150 mm, depending on the model.
2.Less dust, better particle shape: Shear crushing produces more regular particles, reducing dust generation during the subsequent screening stage.
3.Easy to operate and maintain: Dual motors, each roller is directly driven, eliminating the need for a complex hydraulic system; two people can manage it per shift.
4.Replaceable and reversible roller skins: Manganese steel roller skins are replaceable in sections and can be reversed for reuse after wear, avoiding the need to scrap the entire roller.
5.2PG and 2PGC are from the same series: Smooth rollers (2PG) are suitable for fine crushing and particle size control; toothed rollers (2PGC) are suitable for coal and sticky wet materials, with a maximum feed size of 800 mm.

1. What size material can a double-roll crusher feed?
The 2PG series of smooth roll crushers, depending on the roll diameter, has a maximum feed size of 25–60 mm. For larger materials such as coal, salt, and sintered lumps, the 2PGC toothed roll series is used, with a maximum feed size of 800 mm.
2. How fine can it crush?
The roll gap is adjustable, with an output size of approximately 2–150 mm. If you need to crush sand or gravel to 2–10 mm, it is recommended to equip the discharge conveyor belt with a vibrating screen.
3. Should the final stage be a double-roll crusher or a jaw crusher?
The jaw crusher is responsible for breaking up large pieces from the mine, while the roll crusher is responsible for finishing the crushing. If strict upper limit particle size is required and less powder is needed, choose a roll crusher; if you need to crush large stones in one go, use a jaw crusher first, followed by a roll crusher for the final stage.
4. How long can the roll skins last?
For materials like limestone and gypsum, manganese steel roll skins can generally last for several thousand hours, and can be reversed after wear.
